STRANGE FRUIT - Print

$50.00

18”x24” 2 Color Letterpress Print

A song made popular by Billie Holiday in 1939 called “Strange Fruit” was the inspiration for this print and the song that got me thinking about the influence of music and movements. Music has a way of disrupting complacency and forcing us to think. Strange Fruit has been referred to as marking the beginning of the U.S. civil rights movement and has been covered by many famous artists. Billie Holiday’s rendition is beautiful, reaches through time and touches your soul.

Each limited edition 18”x24” letterpress print is signed, numbered and printed on heavyweight paper using traditional letterpress printing techniques.

A portion of the proceeds from this collection will go directly to organizations that support maternal health equity, social justice, education and the arts.

International customers are responsible for import fees due upon delivery.⁣ ALL SALES FINAL.
