Inspiration

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. — MLK

Martin Luther King Jr.’s quote was a large part of the inspiration for this print and overall project. You’ll find the word LOVE in all of the artwork associated with this collection of prints.

This print entitled “Love” was the first in the project and also draws inspiration from the growing number of unarmed black men that continue to be needlessly murdered. Strength, optimism and love are represented here and all qualities needed during these turbulent and transformative times.

Behind The Scenes

This poster entitled “LOVE” was the first piece from the Love Project. I created the artwork in 2016 but didn’t find its purpose until 2020. Ed and the team at Danger Press in Atlanta worked with me to print the poster. Check out the video and images from the printmaking process Support the cause / buy a print →
